Located in the Paro Valley, the Tiger's Nest Monastery perches at an elevation of approximately 3,120 meters (10,240 feet) above sea level. Its striking construction directly into the cliffside creates a stunning visual spectacle, cementing its status as one of Bhutan’s most celebrated cultural and spiritual landmarks.

Getting to Taktsang Goemba from Taktsangri-La

Staying at Taktsangri-La, a four-star hotel located conveniently near the monastery, offers an ideal base for your visit. It’s just a five-minute drive to the parking lot where the hike begins. Alternatively, an ancestral footpath leads directly from the hotel to Taktsang Goemba, providing a more immersive experience.
