How to Get to Taktsangri-La

Bhutan is accessible by both road and air. You can fly to Paro International Airport from major cities such as Bangkok, Dubai, Delhi, Kathmandu, and Singapore. There are also shorter transit flights available from Kolkata, Guwahati, Bagdogra, and Varanasi in northern India. Two airlines service Bhutan: the state-owned Druk Airlines and the private Bhutan Airlines.

Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide and driver will greet you and accompany you throughout your journey, sharing insights about Bhutan’s rich history, vibrant culture, and unique way of life.

As of December 2025, the newly inaugurated Gelephu Domestic Airport will serve as Bhutan's second international airport, with its first flight to Kolkata. Stay tuned for updates on new routes, as this airport is expected to connect more major South Asian cities, becoming one of Asia's busiest international transit hubs.

From Paro International Airport, it’s just a 20-minute drive to Taktsangri-La.
